Japan Tsunami

Hello all

i wish to express my sincere condolence to all those that lost their loved ones in this disaster of sorts. it is really a calamity that has hit the people of japan and hope that they will take time to meditate that things that one cant predict, one cant control.
But we dumb humans feel we are sufficiently able to control what we cant predict thus leading to various deaths and destruction.
my observation is:did the environmental people really saw it coming?
did they alert the people and in good time?

this and other questions need to be answered.

Are aliens real?

Today, i was on the web and i came across and interesting piece - scientist- who where of the opinion that soon that we may be visited by aliens. yes Aliens! i thought a lot of scientist were athiest who dont believe in the supernatural existence but it was quite amusing to start hearing about their beliefs.

and if there are aliens then of a truth there must be The God the Creator. You see while reading, a scripture pop up which stated

Eph 6:12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

could this aliens be part of the above? well lets wait and see but until then i believe in the unseen, we are never alone!

Need to renew my mind

Dear brethern,

the need to renew our mind is now a MUST for me. looking at the scripture, all i see is great promises that are yea, and amen in Christ, yet in my life, all i see is failure, doubt etc. however, the bible admonish me to not allow any promise to remain unfulfilled in my life.

but u know what, for the past 34yrs, i have been groomed in the flesh, through my exposure to sinful stuffs, carnal stuffs, un-godly stuffs and things of the world and this has kept my mind on the things of the earth when God in Christ has given me greater things infact He stated ALL THINGS are mind.

therefore, i desired of God to renew my mind and have the mind of Christ and allowing CHRIST to be my all in all! Allow the promises of God to be yea in Christ.

Do u have a family TREE?

Sometime ago, i saw on a tv programme where Mohammed Ali - d boxer traced his link to ireland to meet his distant relative. hmm! and so many are on the line to trace thier roots. some have roots as white, black etc. but the question is this - of what importance is this root finding thing? does it make us more than human ir it appeals to our emotions only? A movie actor even came to Nigeria to trace his root and found out he was of igbo extraction!

well am not against that but if a Christian should also follow suite in trying to trace his/her roots, then i will raise an eyebrow. yes!

A Christian cant check his human genealogy because there is non. His/her roots with humanity is dead in Christ (1pet 1:18,2 cor 5:17). and note, being a partaker of flesh and blood has ended in Christ, now You are Sons and Daughters of God are PARTAKERS OF THE DIVINE NATURE (DEPOSITION, KIND, BREED).

So glory in the New Man who you are in Christ! halleluyah!!

Economic meltdown?

There has been a daily rise in the news about economic meltdown. each day you hear so much frustration, delusion and rising cost of produce that the man on the street wonders where this is all going to. i dont envy any leaader of the nations of the world one bit, they have more than they can handle including corruption.

Then u come to the end time preachers who prophecy doom and gloom to the point that it weighs down your spirit and brings despair. But the other day, i recalled that why all this especially from the preachers? why do they join the news to point men to men? and not to God?

It dawned on me that all i need is see JESUS CHRIST and HIM CRUCIFIED nothing else! yes why see the worlds poverty and not CHRIST POVERTY? For it is written, Christ became poor, why not dwell on His poverty if u want to dwell on the economic meltdown.

i therefore CHOOSE to glory in His poverty more than dwelling on my poverty cause it changes my estate.

therefore i urge u to - as a son of God- look at Christ poverty if u must concentrate and speak of yours instead.
