Need to renew my mind

Dear brethern,

the need to renew our mind is now a MUST for me. looking at the scripture, all i see is great promises that are yea, and amen in Christ, yet in my life, all i see is failure, doubt etc. however, the bible admonish me to not allow any promise to remain unfulfilled in my life.

but u know what, for the past 34yrs, i have been groomed in the flesh, through my exposure to sinful stuffs, carnal stuffs, un-godly stuffs and things of the world and this has kept my mind on the things of the earth when God in Christ has given me greater things infact He stated ALL THINGS are mind.

therefore, i desired of God to renew my mind and have the mind of Christ and allowing CHRIST to be my all in all! Allow the promises of God to be yea in Christ.

Do u have a family TREE?

Sometime ago, i saw on a tv programme where Mohammed Ali - d boxer traced his link to ireland to meet his distant relative. hmm! and so many are on the line to trace thier roots. some have roots as white, black etc. but the question is this - of what importance is this root finding thing? does it make us more than human ir it appeals to our emotions only? A movie actor even came to Nigeria to trace his root and found out he was of igbo extraction!

well am not against that but if a Christian should also follow suite in trying to trace his/her roots, then i will raise an eyebrow. yes!

A Christian cant check his human genealogy because there is non. His/her roots with humanity is dead in Christ (1pet 1:18,2 cor 5:17). and note, being a partaker of flesh and blood has ended in Christ, now You are Sons and Daughters of God are PARTAKERS OF THE DIVINE NATURE (DEPOSITION, KIND, BREED).

So glory in the New Man who you are in Christ! halleluyah!!

Economic meltdown?

There has been a daily rise in the news about economic meltdown. each day you hear so much frustration, delusion and rising cost of produce that the man on the street wonders where this is all going to. i dont envy any leaader of the nations of the world one bit, they have more than they can handle including corruption.

Then u come to the end time preachers who prophecy doom and gloom to the point that it weighs down your spirit and brings despair. But the other day, i recalled that why all this especially from the preachers? why do they join the news to point men to men? and not to God?

It dawned on me that all i need is see JESUS CHRIST and HIM CRUCIFIED nothing else! yes why see the worlds poverty and not CHRIST POVERTY? For it is written, Christ became poor, why not dwell on His poverty if u want to dwell on the economic meltdown.

i therefore CHOOSE to glory in His poverty more than dwelling on my poverty cause it changes my estate.

therefore i urge u to - as a son of God- look at Christ poverty if u must concentrate and speak of yours instead.

Man of sin?

Two or three days ago, i was watching a man preach on the issue of world domination by the ''antichrist''. He was emphasising so much so that i started having some fear creep into me. but later, while i was musing , i believe it was the Spirit of God, who said that who is the man of sin? of what importance am i to give to such a figure? and I understood that between my Lord Jesus Christ and the man of sin, Christ is better and more powerful..

In 2 thess 2, it stated that the Spirit from His mouth will consume the man of sin, and be destroyed by the brightness of His(Christ) coming. and this made me to rejoice more in Christ and say ''who the hell is the man of sin'' when the devil himself has been made useless by Christ!

so fellow brethern, lets stop concentrating on issues but on Christ Jesus. Choosing to see him in all of His glory instead and we in Him. Halleluyah!

Dont concentrate on end time teachings but on the Glory that is ours in Christ in the end time!
concentrate not on the beast, but on Christ Jesus who is more glorious.
Dont see the darkness in the Book of Revelation, but on what Rev1:1 stated the Revelation of Jesus Christ!

Suicide Rate in US Army?

Hello all, i just returned from a break. Well it was a great one and thanks be to God. During my browsing i came across an article states that US army personel were committing suicide which is rather pathetic! but what got my attention was this statement with all they counselling for the armyy personnel, suicide rate is soaring.
Now i consider that very alarming. In afganistan, they are being killed, at the home front they kill themselves. what can be the solution? since counselling has not helped much, why dont the military resort to prayer? yes prayer to God of my Lord Jesus Christ who will give them peace if they repent of thier sins. any other way is futile and thousands more are on line on 'death row'.

He doesnt seek your opinion!

Yesterday, Sunday 1st Nov, The Lord ministerd to me some really profound understanding and for which i am grateful. He said, when He makes a statement in the scripture either about me or others, He is NEVER seeking my opinion but rather, informing that IT is already done not something that is going to happen.

For instance, when He says It is finished, is not that He is seeking my opinion whether its finished, about to finish but rather He is stating the obvious. It has already finished!

So has God ministered a word via His word concerning you? even do u see in/read the bible His promise and what He has stated, Simply praise Him. Thank God, He is not seeking your opinion but telling u what and how He views you.

Evidence are gradually surfacing: FLOOD of Noah

Now revelation has started surfacing and pointing to this fact. . . of a truth there is a God who really destroyed the earth with water.

Worrying doesnt pay

You know what, i have been going through worry myself. for example, my business which i invested money to start, lately hasnt been function because of a blown fuse which i took for repair and for the past 4 days, its at the repairman's shop.

now if that fuse hadnt blown, by today i would have had something upto say 4,ooo nairas. but u know what worry began to set in.

but one of the ways i have kept at bay worry is
1. resist the devil and voila, worry scams away
2. i tell myself, trust God even if there is no solution, because if u worry, the problem doesnt go away, and it affects your mind and subsequently your body. so trust God. And always, i have piece of mind and suddenly i start seeing solutions.

therefore never worry, trust God like the 3 hebrew children in babylon who said

Dan 3:16-18
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.

17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.

18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

so dont worry, choose to trust God even if it doesnt change in your direction, but at least He promised you peace.

Worry from 2 perspective

I was in church last sunday,11 oct, and during prayers, a thought came to me to research the following
- Does rich people become successfull by worrying and anxious?
- Does rish people use supernatural means to be successful?
- Alternative browsers

Well on the first, i discovered from my few search, not a few were saying that worry/anxiety was needful to spur one in the direction of success. But is it what God says? that anxiety can help me to achieve much?

well in God's word, its the opposite.

Phil 4:6-7

6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Note He says that "Be careful for nothing", a direct opposite to the thinking of men!

Question: Whose advice will we follow, God's or men.

I see that the choice is up to each individual to decide!

what makes a christian different from a non christian? by a non christian i mean all those that have no believe in the Existence of;the Sonship of; the Deity of; the death, burial and resurrection of Christ!

Now i was browsing some few minutes ago, and suddenly a colleague invited me to come see something and i thought it was something special. and suddenly i saw 2 fornicators demonstrating thier carnal nature for all to see.

i went back and the thought came to me what is the difference between a Christian and a non christian? must i be at par with such filt that is being aired as entertainment, fun? i know some might say some christians do practice pornography.

but its because they have not seen how valuable and full of more than what is carnal, flesh and blood! In every christian, according to my definition, is the Anointing. an Entity that is not qualified scientifically in the lab. It is what makes one a Christian. In fact, the name CHRISTIAN means ANOINT-IAN!

yes when u are called Christian, u are called ANOINTIAN, meaning u are possessing or are possessed by an Anointing, a divine power to be different, operate different, see things differently.

Jesus Christ means Jesus Anointing! what value if we see ourselves as the Anointed ones!
